Natalie's Score: 90/100

From the Côtes Du Roussillon wine region, Bastide Miraflors 2018 is a lush and juicy old vines Syrah and Grenache red wine blend (70/30) produced by Domaine Lafage. The 2018 vintage is full-bodied and flavoursome with ripe red berry, cherry, raspberry, earthy violets, cracked pepper spice flavours with a kiss of smoky vanilla on the palate. Lots of food-friendly acidity here and tannins are firm. Decant two hours prior to pouring with a roast of pork and all the trimmings.

Syrah Grenache food pairings: gourmet hamburgers, meat tacos, roast chicken.
