Estate bottled, Baron De Ley Reserva, the 2013 vintage is a toasty, smoky, robust red wine from Rioja. This is a full-bodied and rich red made from 100% Tempranillo. Smoky, toast, full-bodied Spanish red wine with notes of dark red fruit and leather. This Spanish winery is situated about 300 miles south of Bordeaux. The Baron de Ley estate even looks like a French Château. This wine is matured in both American and French oak barrels. Firm tannins that will smooth out with some cellar time then decant 1-2 hours. Pair with lamb and rosemary.

Food pairings: barbecued chorizo sausage, lamb skewers, French cheeses.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
