Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a perfect wine for gifting. Elegant and smooth with an air of Burgundy in style. Pretty ruby leaning to garnet colour with aromas and flavours of red fruit, sweet spices, floral, pepper and earthiness. This Pinot Noir is light-bodied with refreshing acidity. A very pleasing long cherry vanilla finish. Pair this with just about anything you cook up or simply on it's own. Enjoy over the next 5 years.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Bachelder's Lowrey Vineryard from St. David's Bench (VQA), this is a unique expression of Pinot from a well known international winemaker, Thomas Bachelder. Beautiful light cherry colour with a garnet hue, the nose displays tart cherry, delicate herbs and spice, with a unique savoury element. Medium bodied, the wine is refreshing and refiend. Certain to be enjoyed now or cellar for a few years. Drink 2015-2020. Tasted April 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
