Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Sweet baked berry tart nose reminiscent of a Bumble Berry pie cooling on the window ledge. Palate is smoothing with some lingering warm alcohol, tobacco leaf, and black plum on the finish. This California dark suited Cabernet is one for the cellar and easily entertaining ove rthe next 10+ years. Not a bad $40 investment! If you do open this one sooner than later I suggest decanting at least 2 hours.
Pair with a finer cut of red meat medium-rare.
Tasted: February 2017
Arrowood (2013) Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County is chalk dry with aromas of cassis and smoke. Full-bodied, balanced and complex. Drink now or hold for a few years in cellar. - Community Wine Reviews
