Natalie's Score: 90/100

A full-bodied Chilean red wine made from the classic grape Cabernet Sauvignon in the Aconcagua Valley. This wine offers enticing aromas of blackcurrant cassis along with toasty oak. There's a grip on the palate, so decant one hour and enjoy with a rare steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef enchiladas, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese, braised pork shanks with white beans.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Plum, tobacco, black cherry, bell pepper and spice. The green flavour overwhelms a touch, and prevents this wine from hitting its full stride. 88 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
This robust Chilean red wine is made from six vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley. The name of this wine is in honour of the 1,450 hectares of native forest that surround Arboleda's sustainably managed vineyards. This wine is a full-bodied red made from the classic grape Cabernet Sauvignon. Tannins are quite grippy, decant an hour prior to serving with a venison prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews
