From Antinori, Tignanello 2021 is a dry, robust and powerful Super Tuscan that Antinori started crafting in 1385. Produced from mostly Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes (75%/13%/8%) from vines planted 350 to 400 vines above sea level. First made in 1971, the legendary Tignanello celebrates its 50th birthday with this vintage. Fresh and fragrant on the nose and palate with rose peony, tart cherry, red berry, white pepper and cake baking spice flavours supple on the palate, the wine finishes long and luxurious on a minty note. Tignanello is just beginning to show its best now, enjoy it from 2025 through 2048.

Food pairings: veal Parmesan, meaty lasagne, filet mignon, venison tenderloin.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
