Alain Geoffroy Chablis (2016) is a premier cru Chardonnay from the Beauroy in the Burgundy wine region. This family-run estate was established in 1850, and the Chardonnay grapes to produce this vintage were sourced from vines of 30 to 45 years of age. This is a great value, mouth-watering, food friendly Chablis with crunch apple, pear and soft plum flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled seafood. This family-run estate was established in 1850.

Chablis food pairings: oysters, grilled white fish, chicken, pasta with pesto sauce, avocado salad, mussels with a lemon-herb sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The winery was established in 1850 and brings a very finessed Chablis our way. Gorgeous nose with elegance and delicacy; on the palate it has sharp acidity, lime, lemon, and pear notes with grapefruit on the finish combined with some spice and refined minerality. The Chardonnay fruit comes from vines that are 30 to 45 years old - which brings extra depth and concentration to the fruit flavour.
