This Premier Cru (1Er Cru) Burgundian Chardonnay is clean and crisp with pure green fruit and sunshine spring morning. Mouth-watering, food friendly. Lovely yellow plum and pear aromas on the nose. Great finesse and elegance for a dinner party or gift wine. Try it tonight with seafood.

Chablis food pairings: oysters, grilled white fish, chicken, pasta with pesto sauce, avocado salad, mussels with a lemon-herb sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a quality value in Chablis. It has a higher pedigree than normal Chablis; it's a 1er cru, from Beauroy. Alain Geoffroy is a solid producer, as well.
This Beauroy Chablis gives a more concentrated and ample mouthfeel than many others. It has a concentrated quality to go with Chablis precision amd freshness that makes it extremely appealing.
The colour is a nice lemony yellow. Bright and striking.
The aromas have a lot going on. It's floral, but there is also honey, cream, cooked pie apples, and lemon juice/rind.
The flavours are raculy, but still medium bodied. Lemon, honey, granny smith, and a slight heady finish of bruised apple.
Really, a delicious Chablis. Put this with lobster rolls, or. Steamed mussels.
Alain Geoffroy Beauroy (2015) is Premier Cru Chablis that is clean and crisp with green goodness (no oak) and bracing acidity. This is a food wine -- seafood and lots of it. This Burgundian Chardonnay won a Gold Medal at Chardonnay du Monde 2012. This family-run estate was established in 1850, and the Chardonnay grapes to produce this 2015 were sourced from vines of 30 to 45 years of age. - Community Wine Reviews
