This Premier Cru (1Er Cru) Burgundian Chardonnay is clean and crisp with pure green fruit and sunshine spring morning. Mouth-watering, food friendly. Lovely yellow plum and pear aromas on the nose. Great finesse and elegance for a dinner party of gift wine. Try it tonight with seafood.

Chablis food pairings: oysters, grilled white fish, chicken, pasta with pesto sauce, avocado salad, mussels with a lemon-herb sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Alex: A gentler and oakier style of Chablis, with rich tones of crème anglaise and coconut amidst bright apple fruit. It trades of lot of zest for a textured, buttery mouthfeel, and yet still thwarts a salinity on the nose and finish. A style that would be perfectly at home with west coast oysters and a creamy fish dish. 86pts
This Burgundian Chardonnay won a Gold Medal at Chardonnay du Monde 2012. This is a 1er Cru. No oaked. - Community Wine Reviews
