Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Gamay Noir, rich red in the glass, and a very aromatic combination of summer flowers, red fruits and a hint of cigar. A long maceration period, time spent on the grape lees, makes this wine more luscious than other Gamays from this region.
Tasted March 2017.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has a lovely ruby colour, and very aromatic in the glass. Lots of red, ripe berry (strawberry), warm peppery spice and a slightly floral note. More full bodied than expected. (medium+), lots of berry and spice on the palate. Nice balance of acidity, flavour and some light tannin. Make this your summer BBQ wine, and enjoy with grilled steaks, pork or chicken.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ontario does Gamay well - and this bottle from 13th Street does it VERY well. Extremely aromatic gamay from an organic single vineyard built on - sandstone! Medium body with lots of fruit, spice and smooth tannins. This would be a great wine to pair with your burgers this summer! Tasted March 29, 2017.
