Poderi Elia Moscato D'asti 2012, Piedmont D.O.C.G., Italy: A delightful sipper that's low in alcohol but high on taste. I adore this wine and style almost no matter who makes it. Slightly fizzy and orange blossom slightly sweet, it is a wonder. Try it! Peach and apricot on the finish gives an extra bounce to this wine as an aperitif or after-dinner sipper. Drink: 2013-2015. 211664 5.50% S 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 90/100. April 26, 2014 Best Value Dessert Wine. Divine Dessert Wine Full Review
Peter Zemmer Pinot Grigio 2013, Alto Adige D.O.C., Italy: Fresh and alive like spring white linens blowing in the breeze. This Italian Pinot Grigio is the essence of lime and lemon zest. Mouth-watering and medium-bodied. Peter Zemmer is one of the most respected producers of Pinot Grigio whose benchmark home is in the northern region of the country in cool-climate vineyards. This winery is tough on their yields and sorting, which results in remarkably flavourful wines. The wine also experiences a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness. Pair with shellfish or seafood. Drink: 2013-2015. 95802 13.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. November 8, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review
Kim Crawford Pinot Gris 2011, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Green apple, lemon and lime lift on the nose. Come-alive lime flavours on the palate with mouth-watering juiciness. Perfectly medium-bodied and versatile with a wide range of dishes. Great aperitif too. Yum! Drink: 2012-2015. 369850  13.50% D 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 91/100. April 13, 2013 Best Value White Wine. Kim Crawford Pinot Noir 2010, Marlborough, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: Pinot Noir is the second-most cultivated variety in Marlborough. Kim Crawford has crafted a complex and delicious wine in the 2008 vintage. It is filled with aromas of sour cherry, underbrush, raspberry, mushroom and coffee bean. The fruit is front and centre with moderate tannins adding balance. Cellar it 2-4 years, or serve it tonight. My note: Lovely cherry fruit with some cinnamon spice on the finish. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Has that zippy New Zealand character. Juicy, mouth-watering pinot with ripe fleshy cherries and field berries. Medium-bodied and smooth. Drink: 2010-2016. 626390 13.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. January 3, 2012 Full Review
Kim Crawford Small Parcels Rise and Shine Pinot Noir 2012, Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand: Rich and mouth-filling with cherry and dark spices. Lovely lusciousness. Great complexity in the glass: as full-bodied as New World pinot gets without being heavy or cloying. Superb craftsmanship. Drink: 2013-2018. 35337 14% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 93/100. Beringer Napa Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir 2008, Napa Valley, California, United States: Lovely lushness on the nose and palate. Gorgeously ripe cherries and strawberries with some satin plum pleasure mingled in. Medium- to full-bodied and smooth. Pair with roast chicken, swordfish or pork. Drink: 2013-2017. 718668 14.30% D 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 93/100. January 19, 2013 Top Rated Red Wine. Charming Grilled Chicken Wine Full Review
La Crema Pinot Noir 2012, Sonoma Coast, California, United States: Fleshy cherry and dark spice with a long, naughty finish. Medium-bodied and satin smooth like lingerie. A supple, smooth red wine with cherry-berry mouth-filling wonder and flavours. Just enough oak for hedonists. Layered yet not heavy. A consistently great producer of classic Californian pinot noir year after year. Love this silky Pinot Noir! It seems to get better every year. Beautiful cherries and field raspberry notes roll in first, then there's fresh earth aromas after a spring rain followed by some baking spices and a long finish. This pinot has been one of my favourites for years. Satin seduction in a glass. Drink: 2012-2015. 719435 13.90% D 750 mL  $39.95 Score: 92/100. September 13, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine.
