Casas del Bosque Reserva Pinot Noir 2014, Casablanca Valley, Chile: Fleshy black plum on the nose with some rich mocha notes: fleshy-ripe-sweet though it's a dry wine. Full-bodied with great acidity for roast chicken. Bold and vibrant, yet still elegant. Made from young vines grown in the Casablanca Valley planted on hillside blocks in red clay and decomposed granite. Loaded with dark berry on the finish. Casas del Bosque Reserva Carmenère 2015, Rapel Valley, Chile: A rich, full-bodied Chilean red wine made from the country's signature red wine grape Carmenere. Aromas of dark fruit and smoke. Made from grapes grown in the Rapel Valley that are hand-harvested in May. The grapes were crushed and de-stemmed in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
