Robertson Winery Prospect Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Robertson W.O., South Africa: The vineyard for this concentrated South African Cabernet is planted on Zandvliet Mountain at a height of 172 metres facing the southeast, which helps ripen the cabernet grapes yet maintain their balanced acidity as well. Mocha-blackberry goodness on the nose with supple full-bodied layers of dark fruit on the palate. Lots of coffee-espresso and dark fruit on the finish. This would be terrific with hearty meat dishes.
