Creekside Laura's Red 2012, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Juicy black fruit and toasty oak on the nose of this robust Niagara red wine. Lots of acidity and tart blackberry on the palate for dishes with a tangy tomato sauce. Good balance. Full-bodied. This full-weighted wine is intense and balanced with aromas of blackcurrant, pepper and mocha. Try it with gourmet hamburgers. Drink: 2013-2016. 117960 12.70% XD 750 mL  $25.00 Score: 90/100. Les Vignes Bila-Haut Chapoutier 2013, Côtes Du Roussillon Villages, Midi A.C., France: Staggeringly great value in this full-bodied French red wine from the Rhone Valley that's a blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah grapes. This AC-designated wine features brooding black fruit, dark spices and intrigue. What a great price for such quality, especially from such an iconic winemaker as Chapoutier. Try it tonight with pepperoni pizza or meat lasagna. Drink: 2014-2018. 168716 14% D 750 mL  $15.45 Score: 91/100. April 15, 2015 Best Value Red Wine. Glorious Game Wine Full Review

Kim Crawford Small Parcels Spitfire Sauvignon Blanc 2014, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: This is a more complex and richly woven Sauvignon Blanc than the winery's entry-level version. There's a longer pungency and persistence of flavours. Very mouth-filling and luscious with surprising lift and vibrancy. Winemaker Anthony is after more ripe tropical fruit in this expression, such as passion fruit, melon, and guava. So vibrant and expressive with clean slate and white citrus on the finish. Pair with mussels, oysters and scallops. Drink: 2014-2018. 38240 12.50% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 94/100. December 12, 2015 Top Rated White Wine. Blissful Blue Cheese Wine Full Review

Woodbridge Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, California, United States: Terrific Californian Cabernet for the money! Wow. Cedar brush cassis and blackcurrant on the nose and palate. This would be a great party wine or wine for a wedding as it tastes a lot more expensive than it is and will please many palates as it's full-bodied and smooth but not heavy. Pair with hamburgers. Drink: 2013-2016. 48611 13% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 87/100. August 15, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Heavenly Hamburger Wine Full Review
