Richly extracted dark berry flavour and mocha on the nose and palate of this luscious, smooth, full-bodied red wine. Don't wait until midnight to drink it though. Pair with dinner at 7 pm.

Rich ripe dark fruits, especially berries. Full-bodied chocolate and vanilla finish. Would love to have a nice steak with this one.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This sexy, volumptious, sweet and delicious red blend builds off the popular Menage a Trois and provides a slightly drier style of wine making it that much more suitable for enjoying with main courses, especially tangy BBQ fare or even mildly spicy Asian cuisine. Equally great on its own, this crowd pleasing wine is sure to be enjoyed by those that appreciate the bold sweet reds from California. Pop 'n pour! Tasted January 2015. 88 points. Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep, dark and mysterious Californian. An intense blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. Plush, elegant and concentrated, it’s bursting with aromas and flavours of ripe blackberries and plums with hints of coffee and chocolate. Velvety tannins, luxurious mouthfeel, closes in a very long smoke-tinged finish. Fantastic match to a juicy grilled steak.
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Herbs and oak compete for your attention on the nose, with sweet fruit dominating more on the palate. Nice companion with BBQ foods using many marinades that have a sweet element in them. Serve with a couple of good friends.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Menage A Trois Midnight 2013 is a nice blend. This full bodied wine features cherry, vanilla and a spicy sweetness. Tasted on November 29, 2015 (87/100)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Rich black and red fruit jammy and smooth. A crowd pleaser for festive gatherings. Enjoy on its own or with a cheese platter. All spice notes with vanilla carried by a rich dense fruit platform. Enjoy now.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Plush Californian wine for those who like their reds with no edge to it. Vanilla, cherry, and a touch of charcoal, this wine is a little sweeter with cherry, fig and vanilla. Would pair well with your standard BBQ fare, or even vanilla ice cream topped with a balsamic reductiction.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby opaque in the glass. Lots of slow legs showing extraction. Juicy red fruit and black berries, black plum, vanilla, sweet spices. Long length on a fruit driven finish.
Tasted: October 2015
