Burrowing Owl Estate Winery Pinot Noir 2013, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia V.Q.A., Canada: Very sweet chocolate fudge notes on the nose and palate of this generously oaked Pinot Noir. The alcohol is high for what is usually a light style of red wine. Smooth with a warm finish from the alcohol. Drink: 2013-2016. 556613 14.50% XD 750 mL  $40.95 Score: 87/100. June 2, 2015 Full Review
Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2014, Marlborough, New Zealand: A zesty, mouth-watering New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with classic aromas of gooseberry, nettle and guava, with some herbal notes on the finish. Medium-bodied with terrific acidity for a wide range of dishes, from fresh seafood to spinach quiche. Drink: 2013-2018. 316570 11% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. Kim Crawford Small Parcels Spitfire Sauvignon Blanc 2014, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: This is a more complex and richly woven Sauvignon Blanc than the winery's entry-level version. There's a longer pungency and persistence of flavours. Very mouth-filling and luscious with surprising lift and vibrancy. Winemaker Anthony is after more ripe tropical fruit in this expression, such as passion fruit, melon, and guava. So vibrant and expressive with clean slate and white citrus on the finish. Pair with mussels, oysters and scallops. Drink: 2014-2018. 38240 12.50% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 94/100. December 12, 2015 Top Rated White Wine. Blissful Blue Cheese Wine Full Review
Kim Crawford Small Parcels Rise and Shine Pinot Noir 2012, Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand: Rich and mouth-filling with cherry and dark spices. Lovely lusciousness. Great complexity in the glass: as full-bodied as New World pinot gets without being heavy or cloying. Superb craftsmanship. Drink: 2013-2018. 35337 14% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 93/100. September 27, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2012, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: This medium-bodied red wine is liquid lovely! Juicy, fleshy bright cherries and dark chocolate dance across your senses with this pinot noir. Ultra-smooth... like satin. Hedonistic. Amazingly great price for a flagship wine. Please make me some planked salmon and top up my glass. Pinot noir is New Zealand's benchmark red wine and it shows why in this wine. Highly recommended. Drink: 2013-2019. 598813 13% XD 750 mL  $49.95 Score: 93/100. November 8, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Marlborough, New Zealand: What makes Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc so special? It's the subtle balance of freshness (chives, lemongrass and dried herbs) with body but not heaviness. No grassy, more citrus. Lime lift on the finish. New Zealand's benchmark. Try it. Drink: 2014-2017. 304469 13.50% XD 750 mL  $35.95 Score: 93/100. September 27, 2014 Top Rated White Wine. Venerated Vegetarian Wine Full Review
