G. Marquis The Silver Line Pinot Noir 2011, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Tart cherries with some medicinal notes on the nose. Mouth-watering acidity on the palate, medium-bodied and smooth. Pair with planked salmon. The Silver Line is the flagship lineup for the G. Marquis label. Buena Vista Pinot Noir 2009, Carneros, California, United States: Lovely layers of liquid satin, black cherries and some dark spice. Medium- to almost full-bodied. Packed with flavour yet not heavy.
