Reviews and Ratings

James Belardo rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I was hooked when I discovered the Cent'Are Nero D'Avola in the LCBO's Vintages section. As I've noticed that it has been difficult to find this wine, I had to find alternatives. Since then I've taken upon the task of pinpointing the various Nero D'Avola wines. It has become one of my a passions, this grape.

I usually prefer wines made from the same variety of grape, this particular blend has a few things going for it. Thinking I should 'give it a shot,' I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and flavor of this wine. I gather that the 'success' the Cent'Are Nero D'Avola single varietal wine has increased the popularity of this grape so it's a good that this blend blend is a regular listing at the LCBO.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
