A blockbuster southern French red wine blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache grapes with lip-smacking juiciness on the palate. The Grenache component of the wine was aged for 1 year in 80% concrete tanks while the Syrah was matured in 500-litre demi-muids (large barrels). Purple plums and blueberry pie on the nose and palate of this robust, smooth, juicy French red wine. Pair with hamburgers and relish with salsa on the side.

Syrah Grenache food pairings: gourmet hamburgers, meat tacos, roast chicken.
