Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Superb. Densely concentrated fruit. Complex on the nose and on the palate. Well balanced, medium plus acidity, ripe fruit, silky smooth well integrated medium plus tannins, medium alcohol weighing in at 14.5% yet not boozy. This Napa Cab does not disappoint. Decanted 2h and paired perfectly with an Angus filet mignon
prepared rare. Tangy blackberry, ripe plum, savoury, black currant, sage, aged leather, mint. A wonderful treat for the senses. Long finish with persistence of blackberry. Tasted 2013 vintage in March 2018. 94 points
Buena Vista 2013 is a new Cabernet Sauvignon offering from the Napa Valley, California. Great structure on this full-bodied, fresh with black currant and vanilla flavours on the palate. Tannins are velvety and this wine is very drinkable now. - Community Wine Reviews
