Deeply concentrated and flavourful Napa Valley Cabernet. Classic aromas of dark berries, black plums, smoke and leather. Polished tannins. Balanced with a long finish. Pair with a rare steak. Decant 1 hour. Excellent!

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast venison steak, rabbit tenderloin en croute, grilled veal Porterhouse steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Wow!! Lovely and aromatic. There is a lot going on in this beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena in Napa Valley. Aromas of ripe currant, blackberry, eucalyptus, leather and cedar. Full bodied and luscious on the palate, with smooth but structured tannins, and a nice bite of acidity. This wine is 15% abv but very nicely balanced so the alcohol is not noticeable. This is a perfect steak wine for your next date night.
Loving this steak wine from Buena Vista. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is so rich and layered with earthy florals and ripe red berry aromas with ripe dark blue plums, smoky, meaty and fried bacon flavours on the palate. Weighty and plushy on the palate finishing with a caramel kiss. This Cab Sauv. was matured in French oak barrel for 28 months. - Community Wine Reviews
