Loads of fleshy black and purple plums on the nose and palate with cracked black pepper on the finish. Staggeringly great for the price. The 2015 vintage of Tessellae Old Vines Cotes du Roussillon is fresh and intriguing on the nose with fleshy purple plums, black fruit and some toast. Perfect for grilled meats. Finishes with pepper and dark spice. Highly recommended.

Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre food pairings: juicy, rare steak, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese.

A great buy. A beautiful soft floral candied nose. Fully supported by a smooth balanced combination of fruit/spice/oak. Drink now. For entertaining or enjoying on your own.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicious and sensuous GSM blend from France's Côtes Du Roussillon, Midi A.C. Crafted from 70-yr-old vines grown in limestone and clay soils. Aged in concrete. Fragrant and full-bodied with concentrated blueberries, dark cherries, violets, spice, earth and garrique. Silky smooth and satisfying. A very sexy wine, perfect for a date under the stars. Excellent value, I recommend that you buy more than one bottle.
Tasted July 2018
Tessellae 2015 is a ripe and fleshy red blend of old vines Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from the Midi wine region. Lots of rich cherry, ripe blueberry, purple plum, dark spice and cracked pepper flavours on this well-priced, dry and full-bodied red. Pair with a grilled bavette steak. - Community Wine Reviews
