The 2013 vintage of Tessellae Old Vines Cotes du Roussillon is fresh and intriguing on the nose with fleshy purple plums, black fruit and some toast. Perfect for grilled meats. Finishes with pepper and dark spice. Highly recommended.

A rich, layered and fragrant Old Vines Grenache Syrah Mourvedre blend from France's Cotes du Roussillon. Showing dark fruit, licorice, cloves and minerality with an elegant, silky, harmonious mouthfeel and rich, satisfying finish. Hard to beat value at this price. Buy more than one!
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A nice GSM+ blend from the south of France. Aged in concrete tanks to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics, this is a fine wine to enjoy with artisinal charcuterie, lean herb infused sausages, and game meats. Tasted August 2015. 90+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Domaine Lafage creates this red wine blend of 40% Grenache grapes from 60-year-old vines, 40% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre, both of which are sourced from 20-year-old vines. The wine was matured for 12 months in one-year-old concrete tanks. Lots of minerality. - Community Wine Reviews
