This red wine blend is more rustic than the winery's Saint Chinian, but still delivers terrific flavour and texture. The blend is 50% Syrah, 40% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache. The vines grow in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. Pair with rack of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache blend from Cotes de Rousillon, France. Dark garnet with fragrant ripe dark berries, dried herbs and spice aromatics. The palate has concentrated flavours of ripe dark berries, spice, herbal touches and a spicy finish. Serve with grilled meat or hard cheeses.

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This wine has a lovely deep ruby colour bordering on purple. It smells amazing: black cherry, tobacco, baking spice and a bit of cedar. I could smock my nose in this glass all day. On the palate, it was less fruity than I expected, with more old-world characteristics like cedar and forest-floor. Lovely overall!
