The 2014 Pondview Lot 74 Harmony Red, made of 50/50 Cabernet Franc and Merlot, has upon opening notes of plums, toast, cherry and rosehip on the nose that evolve into a bouquet of forest floor, strawberry and raspberry after 2 hours of decanting. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with refined, slightly dusty tannins (decant for 2+ hours), checked acidity and a medium and smooth finish. Drink this wine with food; it will be ready to drink in couple of years, drink 2017-2020 (screw cap enclosure). Rated 86 pts. Tasted in Oct/15. The 2014 Pondview Lot 74 Harmony White, composed of 50% Chardonnay , 40% Riesling and 10% Gewurztraminer, has seductive aromas of lemon, gooseberry, pineapple as well as subtle floral notes on the nose and yellow apple and gooseberry on the palate. It is a light to medium bodied, dry to off-dry, fruity wine; with combination of round acidity (result of malolactic fermentation) and slightly sharp acidity that together result in pleasantly refreshing, creamy acidity and a fruit filled finish of medium length. It is a food friendly and sipping wine; drink now and for the next few years (screw cap enclosure). My impression: NICE, 88 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted in Oct/15. The 2013 De Neuville Bertinière Chinon, composed of Cabernet Franc, has slightly green, leafy notes, accompanied on the nose by dates and figs and followed by plums and dates on the palate. It is a light to medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with good acidity, subtle tannins (decant for 15 min) and medium finish. Drink with food; hold short term (cork enclosure). Rated 86 pts. The 2013 Domaine du Tremblay Vin Noble Quincy, made with Sauvignon Blanc, has mouthwatering aromas of lime, honeydew melon and green apple on both the nose and body, that is supported by mineral feel reminiscent of freshly rained-on pebbles. It is a light bodied, dry, fruity wine; with crisp/refreshing acidity and medium finish. It is a food friendly wine; drink now (plastic cork enclosure). My impression: NICE, 87-88 pts. The Bouvet Brut Excellence Crémant de Loire has restricted nose, but makes up for it on the palate, with fine effervescence that fills the mouth with yellow apple and gooseberry notes followed by fine nutty undertone finish. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with good acidity and medium finish. It is a food friendly as well as a sipping wine; drink now and for the next few years (cork enclosure).
