Medium bodied for the 2010 vintage, tannins not as pronounced as I expected

Mine was a 2002 Vintage purchased as a good discount, possibly due to that year (2002) not being one of the better vintages. That's what my research indicated to me. Anyway it was opened this Christmas eve at the family traditional prime rib roast dinner. Very smooth although coming in at 13.5%, it didn't have that full bodied feeling associated with Cabernet Sauv. blends in my view, which is a good thing for me. I would suggest aroma of cherry/currents if I was to indicate anything. It was my first "cult" wine, certainly didn't disappoint and probably the best red I ever tasted.
