If you are looking for a light, crisp, dry wine this summer, Planters Ridge L'Acadie 2020 is worth a try. This L'Acadie blend sits gently but crisply on the palate with 11.5% alcohol and boasts citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit along with grassy notes. It is just one of the offerings from the Planters Ridge Winery located in Port Williams in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. This wine pairs nicely with cheese, shellfish, Asian food and salads.

This iconic Nova Scotia wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser! It is an off-dry sparkling wine made from a blend of Muscat, Geisenheim and Ortega grapes. The wine is made at Benjamin Bridge Winery in the Gaspereau Valley along the Bay of Fundy. "Nova" - stands for Nova Scotia where the wine is made. "7"- represents the inaugural vintage of the wine which was in 2007. The head winemaker, Jean-Benoit Deslauries, takes a hands-off approach to winemaking and allows the grapes to connect with their growing environment and carve their own path. As a result, each vintage has expressed itself uniquely. It expresses rose notes and exotic fruit aromas like papaya, honey-dew melon and key lime. The 2020 vintage is crisp and invigorating on the palate! It pairs well with seafood, sushi, Asian cuisine and tart berry desserts. The 2020 vintage of Nova 7 is delightful, youthful, and lively! I recommend you give it a try. Salud!

This lively light pink dry rosé from the South of France dances on your palate to deliver beautiful acidity, fruit and floral notes. It is a blend of three varietals - Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Enjoy floral notes of roses and peonies and peach and strawberry aromas. It is the perfect summer wine for BBQ season and pairs particularly well with fish, seafood, and sushi. Not only is the wine wonderful, but the bottle is also equally impressive. Designed by a student at a Fine Arts college in Paris, France, the bottle has a lovely glass stopper and rose design on the bottom. A lovely hostess gift or for anyone in your life that enjoys wine. And don't throw away the bottle before checking out some great DIY ideas on Pinterest. Salud!
