A favourite at YOWine's Zins tasting, this blend is quite full-bodied and tannin-rich for a Zin. Plenty of strawberry, raspberry, dark chocolate and a faint hit of menthol.

This a very tasty California bubbly, currently on discount at LCBO. Nice and crisp, with fine bubbles. Flavours of citrus and apple with a hint of gingerbread.

Fantastic value for a Central Otago Pinot! This one is well balanced and comes loaded with Chelan cherry and floral notes, and a smooth finish.

What a lovely find! This Lebanese wine blends the native Obaideh varietal with Muscat and Viognier. The end result is a crisp white with notes of lemon preserves, rosehip and passionfruit. Bring on the shawarma and stuffed grape leaves!
A nice new world take on CdP, this blend offers up berries, plum pudding and spice box.
Many to choose from, for different reasons. Top 5 (in no real order), 1995 Krug Clos du Mesnil, 2001 Amon-Ra, 2005 Rollingdale Pinot Gris Icewine, 1990 Vega Sicilia, 1995 Moulin Touchais
When I was 17, my cousin gave me a taste of '92 Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay, and '85 Batasiolo Barolo. Both were revelations.
Picking icewine grapes in the middle of the night in -15 weather.
Reds from the Barossa and Langhorne Creek regions still own my wine heart.
