Columbia Crest Winery H3 Chardonnay 2014

Ashley scored this wine: 90/100

A yummy medium bodied Chardonnay. It’s like baked pear and apple drizzled with honey. It has a little citrus, like grapefruit, but lots of toasted coconut and tropical fruit. Its elegance and complexity really showcase what Washington is all about. . The oak is subtle so if you’re looking for a nice wine to hold up to Salmon or mild cheeses, while still maintaining some acidity and lightless this is a great choice. Also a great one for someone wanting to take the leap into the world of Chardonnay but doesn’t want to head straight to the big huge buttery ones. @ashleytyla www.ashleytyla.com

Ashley scored this wine: 88/100

Juicy acidity, gooseberry, lime, herbaceous, grapefruit rind. Lots of tropical fruit and a crisp long finish. Awesome every day sipper, patio and/or summer wine. Pairs well with light salads, avocado ceviche, seafood of course and cheese! :) If you're looking for a sauvignon blanc that rivals New Zealand for less money then this is it. Enjoy! @ashleytyla #ashleytyla
