After a hour in the decanter, this 2006 Tignanello came with a great complexity, smoothness and balance. There is also a sentimental factor to help the enjoyment: we bought it at a enoteca in Siena few years ago.

Voluptuous medium body Pinot Noir with a quite sweet finishing. Enjoyed a lot with some great homemade pizzas

Great aroma, length and balanced. Plum is definitely dominant. Went more wild berries once opened up.

Still too young but quite well structured and balanced. Less depth that I remembered of 2004 vintage. Gonna wait for few more years
