Lydia scored this wine: 94/100
A medium ruby colour in the glass leading to medium plus intensity on the nose and palate, showing blackberry, black cherry, bitter dark chocolate with stewed strawberry, sweet vanilla and spice with hints of toast.
On the palate the wine shows medium plus acid, alcohol, body and length. The tannins are also medium plus and slightly chalky. Overall a really delicious wine with the ability to continue to develop in bottle over the next 4 plus years.
This wine would pair beautifully with mom's roast beef dinner and Yorkshire pud.
