Forest Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Great Southern, Western Australia, Australia

Nicole scored this wine: 88/100

This was a very smooth Cabernet and I enjoyed it very much. It left a bit of an after taste but it wasn't unpleasent. I seem to be drawn to the dark berries as this had the hints of plums and dark currants. The wine itself is quite dark in color. I would pair this Cabernet with a nice Steak and Harvest vegetables. Enjoy!

Nicole reviewed this wine:

This is my first time trying a certified "organic and biodynamic" wine and I must say I am impressed. The year is 2012 and as soon as I opened the bottle I was concerned I would't enjoy it. The smell was strong, very over-powering. The first sip said it all though. This wine is very light, easy to sip. No aftertaste and acidity appears to be low. There are several hints of dark berries - cherries and currants. My next glass will be served with dark chocolate!
