Sylvain scored this wine: 85/100

A wine of medium ruby colour with a gentle, flinty aroma mildly evocative of wildflowers, small red berries, and plums. This wine is of medium body and has a light mouthfeel with medium tannins that are still mellowing out. The juicy cassis, red cherry and balsamic taste of this wine is supported by a high acidity that will help wash down tomato-based pasta dishes in a quick short finish. A decent wine for the low price, but unremarkable for a Barbera d'Asti. Score 85. (S.Segard, reviewed Nov. 25, 2017)

Sylvain scored this wine: 88/100

Deep ruby colour. Aromas of dark berries, herbs, alcohol, and cedar. Medium-full bodied, dry, with young tannins. A savoury red wine ready to be paired with game dishes or grilled red meats, or to be set aside for another 18-24 months to help integrate the abundant acidity. Score 88. Sylvain scored this wine: 92/100

Pale yellow straw colour. Creamy apple tart aroma and taste, with medium long finish. A well-executed Chardonnay that falls within the goldilocks range of not too much buttery acidity and not too much oak. Score 92. (S.Segard, reviewed Nov.19, 2017)
