Deep colour with hints of black cherry, berry and tobacco with spice and oak. Perfect pair with a mushroom lasagna or turkey breast.

Although young and inexpensive, decanted and paired with food this is a great valuable find on the LCBO shelves. Great flavours of blackberry, plum and a dash of spice. Subtle oak flavours add to the flavour. Paired perfectly with a Mushroom Ragout

Kevin reviewed this wine:

With its deep colour and amazing notes of pepper, smoke, oak and vanilla it pairs perfectly with grilled rare red meats and garlic mashed potatoes. Medium to full bodied the 12 months in oak is very noticeable. It has a dry finish and definitely recommend decanting.

An inexpensive high quality Ontario Red. Can be drank immediately with decanting, or cellared. Great for summer BBQ's or mild Italian sausages. It is a dry medium bodied red, tannis are soft and pleasant acidity. With hints of cocoa can pair well with a dark or unsweetened bakers chocolate. I made a spicy beef chili with chocolate and it was a perfect combo.

Unusual Wine Experience

Being in Milan, Italy with my sons mom. She was pregnant with Calvin and we ordered a liter of wine and a liter of water. The wine cost 6 euros and the water 8 euros. Wine probably vinted on premise and it was amazing.
