Sara scored this wine: 88/100

Bright and fruit-forward, with fresh flavours of red cherries, raspberries and a hint of black olives. Light & lively acidity marry well with fine-grained tannins on the palate. This would be an excellent bottle to start your red wine journey with! Contrasts nicely with roasted/grilled mushroom dishes.

Sara reviewed this wine:

A sultry blend of stewed cherries, raspberries and chocolate. Smooth and structured tannins create a well balanced body with a long, lush finish. Excellent on it's own or paired with mild charcuterie, kalamata olives and mozzarella cheese.

Sara reviewed this wine:

Composed of Syrah, Carmenere, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and hints of Mourvedre and Malbec, this full-bodied beauty reflects each of these varietals on the palate. Fresh acidity is entwined with notes of blueberries, blackberries, black pepper and a lovely hint of vanilla on the finish. The focused tannins are well integrated to the body of the wine. Cellar aging of 5-10 years will be rewarded, but can be consumed now by decanting for 1 hour. Pairs well with roast pork loin.

Sara scored this wine: 90/100

Deep in colour, with notes of blackberries, tobacco and cedar on the palate. Grippy tannins and refreshing acidity make this wine ideal for pairing with roast beef and prime rib. Decant for a minimum of 2 hours before serving, or age in cellar for 5-10 years.

Notes of pear, lemon and snap peas combine with a delightful hint of grilled pineapple. The zesty acidity makes this wine great with rich foods like quiches and hors d'oeuvres wrapped in phyllo, but is also light enough to pair well with delicate shellfish like scallops. Good value at this price point.
