Valerie reviewed this wine:

A pronounced intensity wine with notes of tart cherry, cigar box, leather, hints of red berries, and sweet spices. The acid structure is quite strong; ensure a food pairing is nearby. The dusty, earthy notes on the palate make up for things! Medium bodied, good tannin structure, and good length.

If you enjoy a well-developed wine with those forest floor & earthy tones, the Vina Arana Reserva 2005 is a good choice. Hints of "brett" (barnyard notes), toast & vanilla, leather, and meatiness complement the quiet cherry notes. The wine is dry (made from a Tempranillo blend), and has good acid and a medium body. Tannin is still present. Tasted Spring 20114.

An aromatic bouquet of flowers for you on the nose of this wine! Violets and white flowers complement the additional grape, ripe peach, honey, juicy lychee and pear notes. Off dry and medium bodied, this blend of a large number of white grape varietals will have you singing. Good acid structure and well balanced. Another great vintage! Try it with some spicy cuisine.

A vibrant, aromatic nose -- indulging. Notes of apricot, peaches & cream, sweet candied orange, and a twist of lemon. On the palate, this wine is sweet, mouth-watering, and delicate. Floral, citrus fruits, candy, and stone fruits make this a beautiful aperitif.

Clean, crisp, with a good acid structure. Verging on aromatic, this white blend is one to enjoy on its own or with some tapas. Green apple & pear, floral notes, and hints of nectarine will engage your senses. I particularly enjoyed the melon notes! Feel like some skewered & BBQed veggies? Try this as your pairing.
