On January 18, 2012 my wife Amanda and I dined at a restaurant called Victoria & Albert's in the Grand Flordian Resort in Disney World, Florida. I ordered a bottle of Frank Family Vinyard, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. The wine had a very deep purple color. The aromas reminded me of sweet rasberries, semi-sweet chocolate and just a hint of coffee. At the end it presented a peaty, smokey aroma, kind of like a scotch from Islay. The palate bursted with juicy black cherries, cinnamon and coffee which I absolutely loved. The tannins were not overpowering but present and there was a long, lingering finish. I am currently looking on-line to find out how to get this amazing wine so I can fill a wall in my wine cellar.
