A lover of fine wines, I count myself an Icewine enthusiast and this bottle has made my list of recommendations. Apricot is the most notable fruit with lots of bright honey notes. Wow! This wine is sweet, there is no doubt, but the acidity is present and the result is balance. I don't often commend an icewine for balance, but this one has nailed it! Also, the price point makes this wine an easy entry into the icewine world as you won't break the bank for an impressive dessert wine that will result in big smiles as you entertain your guests!

Le Clos Jordanne is amongst my very favourite purveyors in Niagara's wine region and this bottle is an excellent example of why. Pinot Noir is a winemakers grape and is dedicates itself to showcasing the vineyard with terroir aplenty and lots of room for an artful hand to make it shine. This is exactly what was accomplished with this bottle - cherry aplenty, and in such a beautiful and delicate way. The smoke and pepper lend to the earthy undertones of this classically new world example of Pinot Noir. Cloves are the most notable spice in this wine but the barrel treatment is elegant and you can smell and taste that with each experience. Pair with mushrooms... or save for a rainy day in say 3 of 4 years!

The JT Silver Series Chardonnay sang sweet melodies of Niagara peach, bright green apple and baking spice aplenty... the warm vanilla is like a giant hug of delicious! The length on this wine is exceptional, it is very well balanced and the mouthfeel is the definition of full and creamy. Yum!

Petrol on the nose made this wine a winner from the gate. The minerality on the palate is present, not as much as I had expected per the petrol nose, but it is still there (and this is not a bad thing)! The wine was delicious with classic Niagara Riesling characteristics in lemon, lime, peach, pear.. oh my! The further you dig into the wine the more appealing the flavour profile becomes as you find notes of honeysuckle that really do work to compliment the minerality that sneaks into each sip. I really enjoyed this wine, job well done!

An excellent value bottle, I am pleasantly surprised by how delicious this unexpected wine is! The nose is all lychee and floral, which is inviting and creates the anticipation of what is to come in the glass... and this baby delivers! The palate is refreshing with splashes of citrus, tropical notes, and is off-dry, balancing the bright acidity. I would definitely dive into a bottle of this wine again, and for the price, it will likely be a mainstay in my entertaining arsenal (wine rack).
