Dean reviewed this wine:
This classic varietal blend combines the rich dark fruits from Shiraz, lively red fruits from Grenache and an inky, savoury note from Mourvèdre. A Barossa imprint is evident with 79% of the blend originating from this region.
Long, supple tannins support the fruit, presenting an opulent mouth-feel that will pair fabulously with any barbecued or grilled red meats. An earthier dish such as duck risotto is another great choice to enjoy with this complex young red wine or, choose a firm, aged cheddar to complement the spice-encased fruits evident on the lingering finish.
