Cassis & black cherry on the nose, bright, juicy, red & black fruit on palate with medium tannin
Jennifer scored this wine: 90/100
Sagey-wild-herb on the nose with red plums and a smoked meat, smokiness. The palate is dry, black-cherry- raspberry and a slight savouriness. Velvety and full in the mouth with well-integrated acid and tannins
Jennifer scored this wine: 86/100
Complex nose of dark chocolate, pepper, black fruit with a slight herbeacousness. Palate has juicy black plum with a nice, balancing, tannic grip
Jennifer reviewed this wine:
I tasted the 2006. I would give it about the same rating as Natalie's 2005. My notes: Deep & luxurious wine with lots of pure cassis and chocolate notes
Jennifer scored this wine: 89/100
Chocolate, cassis, tobacco, slightly savoury. Rich and silky, nicely balanced. Developed deliciously as it decanted and opened up.
Clos de Vougeot - I don't know the year, I was at a wedding in Burgundy (at the Clos de Vougeot) when I had this divine red
Castelvetro as a teen
After touring many small vineyards in France and Spain, ending up at the Torres complex. It was quite a juxtaposition - it is an amazing operation, much like Disneyworld.
I hate to chose, but if I have to - red Bandol - Chateau St. Anne or Domaine Tempier
