Steven scored this wine: 90/100
From Avignon in the Southern Rhone Valley this wine is well balanced. The acidity and tannins are well structured and provide a smooth lingering finish. On the nose you have the spicy and herb nuance found in this Mediterranean climate where the garrigue is predominant. You also get some black cherry on the nose. Good with wild rabbit stew, hard cheeses and pates. Because of the 13.5% alc/vol I found the alcohol burn not noticeable like you sometimes get with a higher alcohol wine. Very soft and easy to drink on it's own. Drinkable now but you can lay it down for another year but don't lay it down too long. This one is good now!
