Literally meaning “green or young wine”, Vinho Verde is a Denominação de Origem Controlada (DOC) in Northern Portugal. Light, crisp and aromatic, you will find lemon and floral overtones which are also present on the palate. With a slight effervescence, this medium-dry wine is known for its high acidity and loves to be paired with food. At $10.95, you will want to have a few on hand to try with spicy curries, grilled seafood and summertime salads.

Cava is a sparkling wine from Spain, using the same production style as Champagne. Traditionally made from macabeu, parellada and xarello grape varieties, the majority of cava comes from Catalonia. This wine exhibits aromas of citrus and pear and a hint of baked bread. On the palate, it is crisp with a pleasing fine mousse and green apple, peach and lime zest. Available for $15.55 at SAQ locations, it makes for a festive sipper or a reasonably priced addition to your Sunday morning mimosas. It also pairs nicely with oysters, salmon, poultry dishes and cow or goat milk cheeses.

Enjoy the luscious and tantalizing aromas of candied apples, sweet cherries and strawberry jam on the delicate nose of this beautifully blushing late harvest wine. The palate is just as enticing with a velvety smooth texture, bright berry fruit and tasty sweetness balanced by a hint of acidity. This small production wine is a ‘first’ at our winery and is truly a unique treasure. Serving Temp.: 7°C Food Suggestions: Fruit and cheese. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Cellaring Notes: Drink now.

Nutty almond, nectarine, and pineapple - not cloying. Delicious way to end a meal - serve alone or with cheese. The only true icewine made in Prince Edward County – one of a kind!
