Graham reviewed this wine:

Peach, nectarines ,lemons on the nose fleshly pure white fruit on the palate and a finnish that lingers and lingers .This Pinot Bianco is exclusively from Penon vineyards which hangs over the town of Marge. There are a couple of elements making thie vineyard petty special, it's between 2300 ft above sea level, sheltered meaning you can get lovely long hang time, the vines are also kept in check by petty unforgiving soil a mix of chalk and gravel. The gravel to helps radiate heat to the tiny berries that are produced. All in all you get a wine with beautiful balance and character that has massive concentration. the grapes from the vineyard are small compact and intense berries that are fermented i steel and then aged in both tanks and old oak vats

Graham reviewed this wine:

Luminous pale golden yellow .Very elegant lemon curd, flower and mint aromas and flavors have a complex, multilayered quality. Very sweet but also refined Gewurz thanks to bright acidity (56g/L r.s and 4g/L total acidity )and really impeccable balance. The grapes were harvested on October 12, which is fairly late given the hot year and that Gewurz is a low-acid grape variety. But the willing-ness to run risks is what ultimately separates great wines from good ones, and and is a truly outstanding Gewurz

The 2016 Wehiener Sonnenuhr is still discreet , floral and finely mineral rather than fruity on the nose, and juicy on the palate , this is a firm but sensual, with remarkable lightness and lingering salinity l

LCBO A dense and layered red with plums, dried orange and lemon peel and a long and flavorful finish. Beautiful ,Such impressive layers and a fantastic finnish Underbrush, camphor and tobacco aromas mingle with whiffs of vanilla and star anise. Smooth and structured the full-bodied palate offers ripe. Marasca cheery prune, coconut and a hint of roasted coffee bean framed in fine fine-grained tannins

An impressive pure Grenache from Crau (oust), the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape les Larmes Papales aged entirely in demi-muids.Yet the delicary of its garrigue aromas persist, entwined among silky cherries and rapberries. Its full-bodied but leaves a fruit underscored by hints of pencil shaving on the long, elegant finish, its a terrific effort fromthis largely unheralded producer
