This is truly nectar of the gods ... but don't let them drink it all. We mere mortals should stock up on this glorious icewine from the winery that put Canadian icewine on the viticultural map. This is Riesling-based so there's a lovely seam of silver acidity balancing the luscious apricot perserves and peach jam. Os so lovely. Pair with more of the same, or if you must, angel food cake.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Canada is renowned for its prized Icewine production, and Inniskillin is Canada's original estate winery that's become world-famous for their ultra premium Icewines. The 2014 Riesling Icewine is exceptionally rich and decadent. Equally refreshing, it's perfectly suited for enjoyment with spicy Asian cuisine as the rich sugary texture provides the ultimate relief to the spiciest dishes. Equally incredible with the richest desserts, Icewine is so versatile it's perfectly suited for enjoying with just about any meal you can imagine. Enjoy over the next couple decades, served chilled with good company. Tasted January 2016. 95 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Pineapple, white peach and honey on the nose with a floral note on the nose with similar flavours on the palate. It has incredible sweetness that is countered by the acidity of the Riesling. It is a great wine that would go perfectly as desert all by itself!
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

White peach, apricot, honeydew melon, and pineapple aromas. Wow. The sweetness in the taste is balanced out by the acidity and the taste is mostly apricot, melon, honey, and apple. A world-class icewine.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

The Inniskillin Niagra Estate Icewine Riesling 2014 is simply amazing! Aromas of peach, pineapple and honey. On the palate the sweetness and richness lasts for a long time. Tasted January 31, 2016 (94/100)
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

The mastery and tradition continues at Inniskillin in this gorgeous Reisling Icewine. Rich, thick and liquid gold. Fresh apple, honey and white blossoms for a sensory overload that's perfect for after dinner cheese/fruit and nut platter. Decadent enough as dessert on it's own.
Tasted: January 2016
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pinneaple and honey nose. Very aromatic. Very inviting. Pure liquid gold in the mouth with acidity to last a long long time and plenty of plush fruit. High quality icewine. Why pair it with something when you can just have it for dessert?
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is classic Niagara Riesling ice-wine. Rich and golden in color. Aromas of baked lemon, honey and peach with floral notes. Very rich and textured. Oodles of tropical fruit, pear nectar, rich apple butter, lemon, nectarine and fine spice. It is very sweet, but it is light on the palate due to the terrific acidity. Excellent length.
Gwen Barton reviewed this wine as follows:

Lovely! Plenty of sweet stone fruit and melon wrapped in the richness of this wonderful ice wine. Peaches, apricots and melon- oh my! Yay Canada!
