Reviews and Ratings

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A fabulous methode classique sparkling out of BC. Super dry with flavours of red apple, lemon and pine nuts. Creamy mouse with delicate bubbles. Nicely balanced with fresh acidity. At this price- no need to wait for a special occasion. Open tonight and serve with pre-dinner appetizers. Tasted Feb 2021
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This tasty traditional method sparkler featured lively notes evocative of crisp green apple, lemon zest, tangerine slices, saline minerality and fresh bread dough. Bone dry, moderate acidity and showed pleasantly persistent bubble streams, too. Crafted with white varietals - chardonnay, riesling, pinot blanc - harvested in British Columbia’s renowned Okanagan Valley appellation. Overall, a pleasing BC bubbly. Serve with scallops drizzled with cream sauce. Enjoy.

A delightful dry sparkling, perfect for any celebration!
Made using traditional methods for crafting this superb sparkler using Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque, but at half the price of snobbier varieties.
Lively aromas of green apple, red grapefruit and baked bread that transform into flavours of pear and lime - - made more persistent with its sophisticated fizz.
Pair with berries dipped in dark chocolate or with your favourite kettle cooked chips.
Enjoy now or lay it down for a few more years.
Tasted February 2021.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An impressive sparkling made in the traditional method from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.

Fine perlage in the flute, with notes of green apple, petrol, citrus and freshly baked bread. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle for 13 months "sur lie". The unusual combination of grapes; Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay all lend to the complexity of the wine. Flavours of citrus and ripe apple with crisp acidity. Great for an aperitif or pair with some lightly salted potato chips for a casual snack. Tasted February 2021.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium gold sparkling wine, made in the traditional method, dry and with a pleasing acidity. The wine has a pronounced aroma of wildflower honey, soft citrus, brioche along with a floral note. All these aromas are noticeable on the palate along with a pleasing minerality. Lots of tiny, long lasting fine bubbles, leading to a myriad of tiny explosions in the mouth. Paired well with mature 2 year old cheddar, potato chips, olives, 75% chocolate and good friends. Upgrades any occasion to a special celebration. Try with smoked salmon and raw oysters.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Perfect for a special occasions, the 2018 Odyssey White Brut offers delicious aromas of green apple, citrus zest, nectarine, honeysuckle and ginger. Blended from Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque grapes, the wine shows a light and crisp body, and soft effervescence that lets the finish exploit its delicious notes of pear, green apple, lemon, white pepper, spice and beeswax. Enjoy.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Such a refreshing and vibrant traditional method bubbly made from Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque. Aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and tangerine with hints of white florals and saline minerality. Light and effervescent, dry on the palate, with a fine, fizzy mousse, and mouthwatering acidity balancing out some tart and tangy fruit notes, and a crisp finish. Enjoy with coconut shrimp or any other seafood appetizer.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A warm night with friends, Greek takeout, and sparkling wine. Perfect pairing.

Gray Monk Osdyssey White Brut 2018 BC VQA Okanagan Valley
A blend of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay Musque crafted for everyday enjoyment.

Served chilled straight from the ice bucket! A pale straw colour with a frothy head of mousse and evident bubble necklaces.

Light and fresh with nuances of fresh cut green apple, citrus, white blossoms, walnuts, pear, white peaches, and honey. Slight biscotti note from time spent on their lees. Riesling and Pinot Blanc definitely drive this sparkler!

A lengthy lip smacking finish with a warm alcohol chaser. Paired with chicken souvlaki, rice and lemon potatoes.
And good friends. ???? Great value!

Pam Hatton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very pale straw with medium fine bubbles rising in the flute. The nose of tart apple, citrus zest and bread are also found on the palate along with a gingery finish, giving it some zip. Light bodied with juicy acidity makes it a delicious pairing for appetizers like smoked salmon, oysters or Asian inspired rice wraps. Great value for a Methode Classique sparkling wine with 18 months on the lees.
