Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A dry sparkling wine, made by the traditional method, from Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc , aromatic and bursting with flavour and wonderful bubbles. aromas of lemon lime, toast, pear, apple, honey and a hint of almond. Wonderful creamy mouthfeel, rich, dry, with vibrant acidity and flavours of honey, lime, mineral and pear. A great choice for celebrations; this was my birthday bubbly.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep straw in colour with aromas of green apple, bread, lime and minerality. It is sparkling and light bodied with mouthwatering acidity. On the palate you get flavours of lemon and green apple that lead in to a long citrus finish. This will pair well with poultry or seafood in addition to being great on its own for special occasions. Tasted on March 27, 2022.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Tasty, fresh, crisp and brilliant. This traditional method bubbly shines. Showing medium bodied, dry, medium alcohol, declared at 11.3% ABV. Enjoyed sipping this beauty on it’s own. Well balanced. Medium finish with persistence of stone fruit and wet stone minerality. Tasted 2015 vintage in Sept 2018. 92 points.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

What a beautiful bouquet of lime and apple. Tangy flavours of lemon and lime with well balanced acidity.

Would pair well with citrus-based fish or seafood dishes, especially. Also fantastic on its own to toast to your next celebration.

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Created from a blend of Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc, this BC Sparkling Wine made in the traditional method and aged for 18 month in the bottle, has loads of minerality, with a nose of wet stone, crunchy green apple, lemon, and delicate floral with slight almond notes. A pleasant creamy mouthfeel with fine bubbles, and a crisp and dry palate with tart notes of lemon and green apple that linger. Invigorating and absolutely wonderful!

Wine Food pairing: With the Riesling notes shining through, Indian or Thai food would pair very nicely with this wine.

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Exactly what you want in a sparkling wine- crisp, refreshing with nice lasting fizz. This Generous notes of green apple, lemon/lime and a hint of toasted almond. Creamy mouth feel with fairly close-knit bubbles. Open to celebrate something special- or to simply enjoy when the mood strikes. Tasted:Nov 2021.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made in the traditional method with a blend of Riesling, Chardonnay Musque and Pinot Blanc. Fruit forward notes of peach, ripe asian pear and cantaloupe. Flavours show pink grapefruit, Macintosh apple skins and flint forward stony mineral finish at the back. Mouthwatering and fresh, with dry vibrant acidity. This can be generously paired with a variety of foods. Try with honey garlic chicken wings or Cheetos! - Tasted September 2018
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Poured into my glass in November 2021, the 2015 Grey Monk Odyssey White is a hyper crisp, super dry and aromatically appealing experience. From British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley appellation, this bubbly is a red varietal free zone with its blend bill being Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque.

Its aromatic signature evoke croissants and brioche - this is a traditional method sparkler after all. Meanwhile, its bubble streams attract the eyes and its flavours taste citrusy with delicate pear and mineralic accents. I’d pair this with crisps, apps and brunch. Enjoy.

Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An interesting prosecco-like sparkling from BC. it's a blend of 3 grapes ( Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque) with 12g/L residual sugar. Definitely a crowd pleaser with good length of bubbliness.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Blended from Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. Vibrant bubbles, lots of lemon, apple, and more subtle brioche notes. Enjoy with any seafood, oysters, or on its own.
