At our winery, you will find the veteran Israeli vines Carignan and the Petite Syrah alongside the relatively newcomer Viognier, and the noble Pinot Noir nearby the Cabernet Franc – the genetic ancestor of Cabernet Sauvignon.

We create our own unique blends and mixings at the Vitkin Winery. Merging the veteran old French Colombard grape with the new immigrant Viognier and the exotic Gewürztraminer, is a combination possible only at Vitkin. This unusual blend gives birth, as it were, to the white Israeli Journey Wine – a white, wonderful refreshing wine especially suited to the Israeli palate and climate.

At Vitkin we consider that the duty of the winery, besides the production and merchandising of wine, is to contribute to the culture of wine in the country. We are proud to be part of the country’s boutique wineries industry, generating the wine revolution of the new millennium – the brand of the Israeli wine industry in the world, as a quality wine producer and exposing the Israeli consumer to the varied Israeli wines.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
