The ranch has been in existence since the early 1900's when Russian settlers came to the region to farm the land due to the rich soils there. The Grenache grape, one of the four varieties that we produce, are now considered "old vine" grapes. It was approximately 2000, when Jose Luis Malagon purchased the ranch, that our ranch began to take on more of a structured and serious focus in venturing into producing our own wines. Over the last ten years we have worked passionately as a family in achieving a production of wines that is of the highest caliber and quality that we can produce. Our goal is to maintain this high level of consistency as well as surpass each year's production with the last so that our present and future generations may be proud and inspired to carry on this tradition of excellence.
