The foundation of St Hubertus & Oak Bay Family Estate Winery
is our strong belief in family, healthy sustainable vineyards, and great wines.

For over 25 years the Gebert families have tended the original Hughes Vineyard, which was among the first okanagan grape plantings in 1928.

Using sustainable farming practices, the Gebert brothers follow environmentally sound growing methods such as biodiversity, soil revitalization, and integrated pest management (ipm) on their 80 acre vineyard.

The families produce 100% estate grown wines that reflect the terroir of the North Okanagan Valley, to show off the complexity associated with the old world, but with the clean fresh fruit flavours of the new world.

The result is a collection of authentic and memorable wines under the St Hubertus and Oak Bay labels.

Our idyllic and historic estate winery is located just minutes south of Kelowna, nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Okanagan.

Come and enjoy the view with us!

You will love the wines we craft!

Cheers! The Geberts

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
