In the year of 1987, two friends from Ensenada, Rogelio Sanchez del Palacio and Antonio Luis Escalante Dominguez given the passion they had for wines embarked in a "amateur" project to produce wine doing different addings, until in the year 2001 the first vintage was vinified with commercial purposes.

New french oak barrels were acquired and a new stage on wine making was begun.

Fermentation equipment was bought and our vintages of 2001, 2002 and 2003 were vinified in Bodegas Valmar, the 2004 and 2005 vintage were vinified in Bodegas San Rafael in the Valley of Ojos Negros, all of them producing premium wines.

In the year 2006 a winery of our own was set up in the south of Ensenada, with a fermentation room, lab, tasting room, filtering and bottleing, barrel room and finished product room, from then we have vinified four kinds of grapes, cabernet-sauvignon, tempranillo, chardonnay and sauvignon-blanc all of them with excellent potential.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
